New Exhibition Audit Reporting Standard

On Friday November 11, 2011 the CAB Board of Directors approved the release of the Exhibition Audit Reporting Standard (EARS) Version 1 in accordance with Rule 35 of the Circulations Audit Board.

The updated Exhibition Audit Reporting Standard will take effect from November 30, 2011.

Members can download the new Exhibition Audit Reporting Standard here.

The Exhibition Audit Reporting Standard (EARS) offers guidance on how exhibition data claimed by CAB Event Members should be verified, certified, and reported. It also gives prospective exhibitors, advertisers, sponsors and other interested parties an independent and comparable guide to the performance of an exhibition which may provide a likely gauge of its future performance and audience fit.

The amendments to the Exhibition Audit Reporting Standard are the result of extensive consultation with key stakeholders from the exhibition industry, who kindly provided their time to sit on the Exhibition Audit Review Committee.

This Reporting Standard repeals and replaces the Exhibition Audit Rules & Guidelines for Exhibition Organisers 2004.
