Admin
ABA CEO Paul Dovas has been appointed to the role of President of the Asia Pacific Audit Bureaux of Circulations (APABC) and will return to the board of the International Federation of Audit Bureaux of Circulations (IFABC) for a second year.
The role of APABC is to bring together the ABCs in Asia Pacific and share knowledge, experience and learnings specific to the region. APABC also fulfills the role of helping markets establish ABCs where there aren’t any presently.
APABC comprises the ABCs of Australia, Malaysia, Japan, China, Chinese Taipei, South Korea, India, Singapore and Hong Kong and BPA Worldwide.
Dovas also lobbied for the creation of an IFABC Events Audit Sub-Committee to spread the word about event auditing and explore the standardisation of metrics and audit processes around the globe. The Committee will first meet in 2013.
Dovas said: "The appointments represent global recognition of how far the ABA has advanced in the last few years and positions the bureaux as leaders in our region."
