‘What do we want? – Audits!, When do we want them? – Now!’

This is the tongue-in-cheek message that the ABA recently took to media buying agencies on a national education tour that was attended by more than 160 media buying and planning professionals.

Attendees were reminded of the benefits and value of ABC & CAB audits achieved through consistent and transparent audit processes that produce accurate, comparable data making for reliable media buying decisions.

The much sought-after protection of an independent audit now extends to online ad spend through the introduction of the ABA’s Web Audit service which was well received by the media buyers who were keen to discuss and contribute to the debate on the issues plaguing web measurement.

World Audit Domination may be an auditors pipe-dream, however the truth is that the ABA really do want to set a global benchmark and have all media spend in Australia protected through independent auditing. You too can play a part in this all-conquering campaign by spreading this simple message – ‘If it’s not audited, it’s not on!’
