Digital publications offer an interesting cocktail of the engaging elements of print, enhanced through the interactive elements of a website. The digital publication format has allow many publishers to expand and enrich their communication with readers and it is now possible to have your digital publication audited through the CAB either as an independent publication or in conjunction with printed publication. Your digital publication can be as simple as a replica of a print publication or enriched through design elements unique to the digital medium.

Sydney based company Realview was the first digital publication service provider to be recognised under the CAB’s Digital Publication Audit service. CAB members who are utilising Realview’s Unified Media production platform, were part of the original trial involving the verification of the number of requests to download a digital publication. Digital publishers will also have the option to audit the download of specified pages in the publication and the number of times active ads in the publication were clicked on.

The Digital Publication Audit is technology neutral allowing for reporting of digital publications delivered through either pdf or page-turning technology and verifies the average unique requests or average unique views per issue of a publication

The ability for CAB members to easily audit their digital publication is a great opportunity for publishers to add credibility to the data they provide media buyers. Our digital audits allow you to showcase the complete picture of the circulation and distribution of your media brand.
